Interwoven Lives
I chose oil pastels to create a distinct look that sets my work apart from traditional paints. The intentionally ununiform background symbolizes the space and time we traverse throughout our lives. Each ball represents an individual, while the connecting lines illustrate our relationships and interactions with one another. I invite viewers to envision the balls bouncing and moving, exploring the dynamic nature of social connections. The unique colors and shapes of the balls signify our individuality, highlighting how, whether we acknowledge it or not, we intertwine in our journeys through life.
